Bio

Mina Đukić directed the multi-award-winning film “Disobedient” (2014), which, following its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival and European premiere at the Rotterdam Film Festival, won 10 awards at over 15 international festivals. The prestigious magazine Screen described the film as “wonderful” and “a lush lyrical story,” praising its strong emotions and cinematography. In addition, within the film production company Kiselo dete, of which she is the founder, Mina produced films such as “Tilva Roš” (2010 / Locarno IFF, Sarajevo FF) by Nikola Ležaić, “Stone in Hand” (2017 / Tampere, ACID) by Stefan Ivančić, and the short documentary “Yugo, Short Autobiography” (2010), which she also directed. She co-produced films like “The Needle Under the Nail” (2016, Sarajevo FF) by Ivan Marinović and “Freedom or Death” (2018) by Vladimir Blaževski. In 2021, she directed 6 episodes of the series “Mom and Dad Play War 2.” She is the writer of one story in the series “The Visit” titled “Fire,” and the director of another story titled “Prey.”

She was born in 1982 in Sombor. She lived in Kula until 2001, after which she moved to Belgrade, where she currently resides. She graduated from the Faculty of Dramatic Arts and works as a visiting lecturer on the subject of “DIGITAL FILMMAKING” at the SAE INSTITUTE in Belgrade.
