
Bio
Saša Janković is an experienced audio engineer and music production specialist with a strong international background. He specialised in the United Kingdom, earning an SAE Audio Engineer Diploma and a Bachelor’s Degree in Audio Production from Middlesex University, London. Over the years, he has worked with renowned recording studios across England, including Black Barn Studio in Surrey, Parkgate Studio in Sussex, and RAK Studios in London. His expertise spans professional and artistic production, contributing to numerous album projects and managing the Mobile Recording Facility – Oxygen Digital Studio, which was temporarily based in Belgrade and focused on recording film and classical music.
In addition to his studio work, Sasa has built a strong academic career. He is a Head of Audio Production at SAE Institute Belgrade, where he leads advanced audio engineering modules. As a guest lecturer for The Music Industry Program at West Virginia University, he has conducted music production sessions in professional recording facilities in both New York City and London. His contributions to orchestral and film music production include serving as a senior recording and mixing engineer for the FAMES Project in Skopje, Macedonia, an orchestral recording facility specializing in film music.
With extensive hands-on experience in the global music industry, Sasa has developed a well-established career as a recording and mixing engineer. His work spans various studios and multimedia projects, providing him with a deep understanding of different markets and cultures, including the UK, US, EU, former Yugoslavia, and Pakistan. In addition to his practical expertise, he has made significant academic contributions, publishing two research articles for the Audio Engineering Society (AES), focusing on in-depth studies and teamwork within the field.
