Why SAE?

Thanks to the fact that our program has three semesters per year, instead of the usual two in Serbia, SAE students are able to complete a three-year, 180-ECTS bachelor’s program in only two years. The entire course is delivered in English, and the final diploma is awarded by our partner university from the United Kingdom (University of Hertfordshire). An SAE Institute diploma is highly respected in the audio industry.

Every student receives ample studio time for independent work, as well as one-on-one mentoring throughout all modules, not only during the final project. In addition, there is always a studio supervisor on duty who can help you solve any problem. This is the only way to become a professional audio producer in just two years.

SAE students begin earning money even during their studies, and after graduation they work all over the world: in studios in London (De Lane Lea), cultural centers (Sheikh Abdullah Al-Salem, Kuwait), concert halls (USA, Germany), Dubai, and various festivals. Many of them run their own production studios locally (such as CUNAMI Studio).

Access to State-of-the-Art Equipment SAE students in the VFX & Animation and Game Art & Animation programs work on advanced, high-performance computers, and the classroom is organized like a “rendering farm,” similar to a production studio environment. Students also have authorized remote access to the rendering farm from home, so they don’t need to stay on campus longer than necessary. Predrag Milošević - Head of Game Art Animation

Following graduation at Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Film and TV Camera, Predrag goes for his true passion and converts it to a successful profession. Gaining MMA in Digital Arts, he started teaching in the master and PhD studies at Belgrade University of Arts. Predrag has been professionally involved in many projects within the advertising industry, mostly as Creative Director. The project worth mentioning is definitely The Opening Ceremony of 25th Universiade, where Predrag was in charge of the Animation Department. He was heavily involved with Fantasmagorie 2008, the animated film directed by Rastko Ciric, as Art Director and Project Supervisor, as well as Wintergardens, the theater play directed by Nikita Milivojevic, as Video Artist. The majority of his current work flows around animation and video for theatre. Besides 2D, 3D animation and compositing, he is also strongly involved in space mapping of real scenography elements and interactivity with stage performers. Predrag has been awarded several times for his creativity and animation direction.

Dejan Mandić - Senior Lecturer at Game Art Animation

Dejan is an alumnus of Faculty of Applied Arts in Belgrade, holding MA degree in Printmaking and Illustration. He has illustrated over 50 books, including best selling and awarded “Misteries of Ginko Street” serial, and a Kickstarter sensation “Zweihander RPG”, to name a few. He has worked extensively in Concept Art and Character Design, as well as creating comics and graphic novels.
